Our "Grow herbs" project consists of planting common herbs that we use when cooking and we use to have in our kitchens. The main aim of this project consists in raising awareness about the use and abuse of plastic containers, by cultivating herbs, to avoid those dried plants which already come prepared for home use in plastic pots and, on the other hand, for the reuse of plastic containers and milk cartons. To carry out this project we prepared the planters using the milk carton where we put the soil and the seeds. Then we put these small seedlings in two plastic bottles, previously cut in half to use them us as a greenhouse to maintain the required temperature to germinate the seeds. Once the plants grow we can transplant them and use them in our kitchen at our convenience.
