Conversations Carbone

France, Valence 2017
TSE has helped Institute N├ęgawatt run the Carbon Conversations programme in France.

Pamela Candea from the Surefoot Effect facilitated a Carbon Conversations training in Valence, where 10 people trained as Carbon Conversations facilitators. Each participant pledged to run one Carbon Conversations group with an average of 6 people. That would result in an expected carbon saving of approximately 45 tonnes of carbon dioxide. Carbon Emissions per person are lower in France than in the UK, and where is the UK participants of Carbon Conversations reduce their carbon footprint by 1 tonne of CO2 on average, we consider a reduction of 0.7 - 0.8 tonnes per person in France would be adequate.
