The United World College National Committee of Thailand carried out several activities to reduce the environmental impact of its main annual selection process activities. These activities included substituting Styrofoam containers with paper-based containers when serving food, which are more environmentally-friendly, and also avoided the use of plastic cups and plastic bottles that both participants and organisers might have used during breaks and refreshments.
